Alright, so lately we here at Sports in Norway have been on the slow end. Not sure if I should go "oh well" or "sorry about that" since I'm not sure anyone's out there reading this. The last blog entry is a few weeks old and our main content comes from when we go out and shoot events. Which we haven't done since March after finishing up Raw Air and the X Games. (My bad.) BUT we are finally kicking back into gear. ... Or we will, in June. After about 2 months spend in part vacation mode, part fantasy book series, and part paying part time job, we are resurfacing for at least 2 football/soccer games, one between Norway and the Czech Republic (world championship qualifying game! Exciting!!) and a friendly game between Norway and Sweden. And if we're lucky, a few days after that there should be hopefully 2 days of handball, one day from the handball fest in Oslo Spektrum and one game between Norway and France. We should also be going to the Oslo Ski Show, which coincides with the day the Czech Republic soccer game is on but fortunately not on time, which should result in loads of fun, stress getting places, exciting and exhaustion. Unlike last year, we're not doing the ExxonMobil Bislett Games, but that is more because of bad planning on my end rather than not wanting to, since it coincides with another game we're going to.
Beyond that, there are some games and events coming up we hope we'll manage to shoot and write about. As already laid out in the info page, we are not a news outlet so there'll no updating during or shortly after the actual event, this is a webpage dedicated to the photography aspect behind sports photography, so whatever lands here on this blog will be something we found to be fun, curious and generally interesting and would like to share with everyone else.
Hopefully, whoever you are, you'll enjoy what we already have and will share. Any comments and thoughts are beyond welcome, but if you're going to say something mean and non-constructive, keep it to yourself.
Live long and prosper! ;D
