People as they traverse the night. For what would the night be, without some hint of life?
Long Exposure
Long exposure is a recent addition to my continued study and investigation of the night. It is also an interest that started when my dad brought down the tripod for a telescope and I took it out for a test run, as well as when I acquired Photoshop, which allows for the creation of panoramas and large format pictures.
LAMPS
My real interest in 'documenting' lamps began with a simple class assignement, named "Once Upon a Time". I approached "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" as the main basis for the storyline, with the lamppost taking on a strong image. (When do you ever truly think of Narna without the lamppost being included within that image?) After that, I began paying more attention to lamps as sources of lights in the night, but also as a wonderful subject area in its own right.
